Young Latinas tend to have great hair and they like to wear it loose.  It is always impeccably groomed and more often than not, falls in a thick, dark, glossy curtain past the shoulders.  Hair styling products and equipment are as important to the latin woman’s beauty regime as make-up is.

Speaking of which, here are a few make-up suggestions for young modern Latinas. With their meditteranean skin tones, there are not many colors that won’t suit Latin women.  For eyes, they really can take their pick from pretty much any color they like, depending on how much impact they want to make, and if the look is for day or evening wear.  Brown, green, blue, pink, mauve, gray, burgundy and gold will all look amazing.  A touch of sparkle high on the cheekbones or under the brows adds a nice touch, but only for the evening – it’s not a good look for during the day.  Finish with a smudged eyeliner under the lower lid and mascara or false lashes. The lighter Latina skin tones will look good with a dusting of peach or pale bronze over the cheeks.  For darker skin tones, a terracotta or a deeper bronzing powder with gold tones will give amazing results.
